Mosquito Lagoon
Charter Options & Rates
Full-day fly and light-tackle charters on Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River Lagoon with local guide Capt. Eric Perez.
One Charter.
Built Around You.
Eric only runs one charter each day, giving you his full attention from start to finish. More importantly, it gives you the flexibility to fish without watching the clock. If the conditions are right, we’ll stay. If another part of the lagoon gives us a better opportunity, we’ll move.
Sight fishing on Mosquito Lagoon and the Indian River Lagoon is all about adapting to the conditions. Wind, tides and fish movement all play a role in how the day unfolds. Eric’s job is to put you in the best position to find fish and make quality shots.
Whether you prefer fly fishing or light tackle, the approach stays the same. We’ll quietly stalk the shallow flats in search of redfish, snook, spotted seatrout, black drum and other inshore species. If this is your first time with a fly rod, Eric is happy to teach. If you’d rather focus on fishing, he’ll put you where the fish are.
Beginner Fly Fishing
New to fly fishing? That’s perfectly fine. Eric enjoys introducing anglers to the sport and is happy to teach everything from casting and line control to reading the water and choosing the right fly. Questions are always welcome, and the day is built around fishing at your pace—not rushing through a lesson.
Fishing & Bird Watching
Some days are about the fishing. Others are about enjoying everything Mosquito Lagoon has to offer. Bring your binoculars or camera, watch for herons, egrets, ospreys and other wildlife, then fish when the conditions are right. It’s your day on the water, and Eric is happy to build it around the experience you’re looking for.
